Make 2019 the year you keep it simple! How many New Year's resolutions have you made and how many have you broken so far?
Pick one, the most important one and make it happen. That's the first way to keep it simple this year.
Just answer the question. Yes, we love to tell our story ! We like to add lots of information and bring in background information and so forth. However, just answer the question and do not reply with a long-winded answer to complicate things.
Prioritize your task list. OK, you do not need me to repeat what this means. Scratching off your list enables you to see your accomplishments in an easy and effective way. On to tip #4 - check!
Be in the moment. Put the phone down, stop worrying about the past and worrying about the future. Give the moment all of you. Of course, make time to think about the past and think about the future. Learn from yesterday to do better today for an awesome tomorrow. Simply do this by being in the moment.
Forget about multi-tasking. I know what you are going to say and I hear your arguments. You can get a lot more done by multi-tasking. We are not designed to multi-task. Technology can absolutely do the multi-tasking for us. Here is an exercise: talk at the same time you are listening to the other person. Both of you write down what you both said and heard. Interesting how much of the conversation you missed!
