Google Deleting Inactive Accounts December 1st

Google will be deleting all unattended accounts from Google’s platform, including all Photos, Drive documents, Contacts, E-mails and Calendar entries on December 1st. Inactive accounts often pose higher security risks due to several reasons such as outdated passwords and lack of 2FA (Two-Factor Authorization). By removing these accounts, Google aims to reduce the potential risks associated with them, including unauthorized access, identity theft, and misuse of personal information. Google’s inactivity policy is only applicable to users with a personal account, so it does not apply to users with school or commercial accounts.

Police issue Precaution over iOS 17 update

Update causes huge security concern

By just holding the two phones close together, you may share contact details and images with another iPhone with ease thanks to this new feature called “Bring Devices Together.” By default, this functionality is turned “ON”, causing concern for the elderly, children or other vulnerable individuals. To turn off this feature, you can go to Settings, General, AirDrop, Bringing Devices Together, and choose “OFF” to disable this capability. According to an Apple spokesperson, when two devices are brought together no contact information is automatically exchanged without the user’s intervention.

Unhappy with Google Maps’ new color scheme?

Coloring is more similar to Apple Maps

Color changes, in particular, might impact user experience by altering how users perceive and interpret the map’s information. Some individuals found the new color scheme less intuitive or less visually appealing, leading to dissatisfaction or difficulty in navigating the app. The new update, which has been out for weeks, served as a lightning rod for internet humor. The general consensus is that people hate the new hues. The roads have turned gray instead of yellow, and the water’s color has changed from a deeper blue to teal. Parks exchanged their green for a mint color.
