Days Off

What is a Day Off?

A day off is a day set by the employer where the employee receives pay for the day without having to work (eg: vacation, sick, short term disability, etc.).

 

Adding a Day Off

To add a day off, click Employees (1) on the left tool bar under the Main heading. From there, click on the desired employee (2).

Then click Days Off (3) at the top. From there, click add day off (4) then choose the start and end date of the employee’s absence (5). The reason for the absence can be selected here as well (6), then click the save icon (7).

There is also a live total of how many vacation and sick days the employee has remaining, and these can be changed for just the employee by clicking the drop down.

Editing a Day Off

To edit a day off, click Employees (1) on the left tool bar under the Main heading. From there, click on the desired employee (2).

Then click Days Off (3) at the top. From there, click on the edit icon (4) on the right and now the date (5) and amount of hours (6) can be changed. Then click the save icon.

Deleting a Day Off

To delete a day off, click Employees (1) on the left tool bar under the Main heading. From there, click on the desired employee (2).

Then click Days Off (3) at the top. From there, click on the delete icon (4) on the right and then select yes (5).
