What is a Holiday?
A holiday is a day that has been scheduled off by the employer, and it is a day with pay for the employees. Employees can still be scheduled but by default all employees will have holidays off. If employees are scheduled to work the holiday they will be paid accordingly (typically time and a half). Administrators have access to add/edit/delete holidays.
Adding a Holiday
To add a holiday, click Holidays (1) on the left tool bar under the Main heading. From there, click add Holiday (2) at the top and choose the date and name of the holiday (3). Then click save (4).
Editing a Holiday
To edit a holiday, click on Holidays (1) on the left tool bar under the Main heading. From there, click the edit icon on the right. From there the date and description of the holiday can be changed. By clicking manage employees (2) in the middle, employees can be scheduled to work the holiday. To do this click the (+) next to their name (3).
Deleting a Holiday
To delete a holiday, click on Holidays (1) on the left tool bar under the Main heading. From there, click on the trash icon (2) on the right of the corresponding holiday.
