What is a Task?

A task is something that is done in order to complete a job. Usually, multiple tasks are required to complete a single job, and the list of tasks that are created can be viewed on this page. Tasks are company-wide and can be used on multiple jobs. Administrators and Department heads have access to add/edit/delete tasks.

 

Adding a Task

To add a task, click on Tasks (1) on the left tool bar under the Jobs heading and then click Create Task (2) at the top. From there you can give the task a name, as well as add a task code, a pay rate for that task, and if an attendant is required (3). Then click save (4).

Editing a Task

To edit a task, click on Tasks (1) on the left tool bar under the Jobs heading and then click on the edit icon (2) next to the task. This is where you will determine whether or not the task is attended (machine controlled), the rate of pay, and the rate effective date (when the pay rate begins). Then click save (3).

Deleting a Task

To edit a task, click on Tasks (1) on the left tool bar under the Jobs heading and then click on the delete icon (2) next to the task.
